HOT and Other Random Thoughts

It is going to be a very hot day!! A heat index of 110! Hmm....what to do with the kids today? Hopefully they will take long naps and than we can maybe get the sprinkler out! I love summer but I am not sure about it getting this hot! I like to wear my hair straight but in the humidity it just frizzes and gets curly (I have naturally curly hair). How do you explain to kids that it is way too hot to just play outside? This could be a very long day. In fact, it is only 10:30 a.m. and I feel like the day should almost be done! Oh man!!
We are going to go camping this weekend with friends so we have bags of food sitting all over the counter and we just have a mess! Love to camp don't like the mess my house turns into before we go and when we get home! Stuff EVERYWHERE!! I am excited to spend the weekend with friends and hopefully work on my tan a little bit! I haven't been outside much yet this summer!
Last night we had a farewell supper and program for our pastor! He has been at our church about 5 years and has decided to take a call in California! I am quite sad that he is leaving but I understand that pastors need to move on and help other churches! I pray that him and his wife have safe travels to California and I also pray that our church wont be vacant for such a long time! I told myself no crying last night but the program just made the tears come! Pastor Paul has been so great to our family! Last night Abby gave him a hug and Pastor Paul said "love you" and Abby said it back! That is pretty amazing for Abby! To not only give him a hug but to also say love you! That made Pastor Paul tear up!
Benjamin turns 7 months old already tomorrow! I can't believe it! Brad has been telling me I can't have baby fever yet! No worries, there will be no babies yet. At least not by our plans but who knows what God has planned! I just love babies. I keep telling Brad that when I am pregnant with our last planned baby I think I will cry at every different stage of pregnancy and the babies milestones! The thought of being done having kids just kills me:) I am ridiculous I know! Wow, this post is quite all over the post! Sorry, just writing about my thoughts! Starting Over

So........I am starting a new blog because for some reason my other one just doesn't want to work! No one can comment, I can't change the background and I am just beyond frustrated! Bear with me while I still get this one designed. I don't have a lot of time to just sit here and work on it so I might have to do a little at a time! Hopefully this one doesn't get frustrating or I will have to look for a different blogging site! Enjoy!
